brief rhubarb
I really enjoy the tart, vivid rhubarb at the start of wearing Miss Sixty. Supported by its smell-cousin redcurrant, it's fresh and lively and different. The problem is that, to enjoy this scent fully, I'd need to carry a spray bottle of it with me and remind myself to spray every hour or so. Although I don't particularly have "perfume-eating skin," I find the rhubarb here fading very quickly. An hour later, this is a vague, pleasant shampoo sort of scent. That solves the mystery of why a perfume created by such a highly acclaimed nose would be selling at bargain bin prices. (Ms. Bugey was behind Kenzo Amour and its flankers, as well as several of the DSquareds and several Le Labo scents.)
