I remember Molinard from years ago - when they were still in blue glass bottles with retro-looking labels. They could have easily been on the shelf at Yves Rocher or L'Occitane - and the design would have fit perfectly. They would have gone unnoticed by me. So it's good that the design has changed ;-)
I own three Molinard fragrances: Vanille, Tendre Friandise, and Nirmala - scent and sillage are in the middle among the three.
Pink.
When I smell this fragrance - or rather, when I feel like wearing it, I always see a color in front of me: pink. If pink could have a scent - then definitely like this.
Tendre Friandise starts for me with pear and a hint of citrus (one of the CSP fragrances starts similarly - the Vanille Pitahaya, but has nothing else in common afterwards). And then the scent becomes soft, infinitely soft - like a delicate, pink, fluffy powder puff.
It is indeed a gourmand fragrance - no question - but for me, it is not one of those cloyingly sweet, toothache-inducing gourmands (like Pink Sugar) - rather a soft, soothing gourmand - like hot milk with honey before bedtime.
In the heart, jasmine flashes through - I also smell fine amber - not a bit scratchy. Strangely, the mentioned wood only comes into play for me in the base.
In the base, there is fine nougat praline dusted with powdered sugar. Vanilla and musk likely add the delicate powdery note - and prevent it from drifting into "too sweet." The whole thing is carried by a strong yet soft wood note.
The sugar sweetheart has found her wooden rocking horse.
