What a beautiful fragrance pyramid
I've received
Dior Homme with Ambrocenide clouds
Iris greets from the chemical plant
Molinard, quo vadis? What a pity!

Oh, this Ambrox stuff really ruins almost every fragrance for me when it’s so prominent.

Thank you so much for your clear statement. With iris, reason goes out the window. I like the brand and wouldn't have expected a disappointment. The Dior scent wasn't really my thing, so I trust your judgment. Some chemical fragrances ruin everything for me and kill my scent synapses.

It's relatively moderate here, the modern aroma chemistry.

I haven't known Molinard for long, so I can't really comment much, but my sense of smell hasn't found anything interesting so far...

Ambrocenid cloud fronts, recently influenced by a major incident at BASF, are massively shaping the weather situation.
I have a feeling this won't pass anytime soon.

With this one, it's actually harmless, but a scent like this is just much nicer without it.

What a shame for such a pyramid.

The notes sound lovely. If only those pesky ambroxan notes hadn't sneaked in!

I really don't want to surround myself with the charm of a chemical factory.

I really struggled with whether I wanted to get to know it (since Iris always intrigues me), but after your statement, the answer is a clear no. Such a shame about this "trend"…..

@Pollita It's just our insatiable curiosity that often tricks the mind 😉

I think you can skip that one. And I should probably skip a lot of new releases too 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah, that's a shame. I'm not really a fan of Dior anyway; it's just not my vibe. But here it sounds even worse.

Nothing against the scents from the chemical plant; at least they're authentic!

Even the traditional houses are too much at the mercy of synthetics. What a shame.

So now Molinard too, which I find really unfortunate. I love these traditional houses from Grasse; I often visited them in my childhood and bought fragrances. I would have wished for a bit more French tradition here, but it seems we won't get that in Grasse anymore either. Thanks to TheBasti for sharing and the opportunity to test.
