While I am very enthusiastic about the EdP, I unfortunately have a small problem with the EdT.
The fruity note at the beginning bothers me quite a bit. Unfortunately, it lingers throughout the entire time I can perceive the scent. During my first wear, I wondered what it was about this fruity note that bothered me so much. I now know: It gives the vanilla milk a slightly sour note and strongly reminds me of spit-up baby milk.
Yes, exactly. Just like Milk Musk Eau de Toilette smelled, my son used to smell like that whenever he brought up the baby milk.
If it weren't for this sour fruity note, this EdT would be a beautiful, very gentle vanilla milk. But this association in my nose unfortunately ruins it for me.
Longevity and sillage are very weak even for an EdT. After about 1.5 hours, I can't smell anything from the 5-6 sprays I had to use.
Does the scent have a bit of a "soapy" quality? - Does it smell somewhat like "Palmolive Milk & Honey Liquid Soap" or more like baby milk (Beba - baby formula or HIPP Milk Semolina)?
I need this info for my own fragrance.
For me, it's exactly the opposite. I really love the EdT with its fruity vanilla milk and have received many compliments for it. My husband likes it too, and he even asked for his own bottle for Christmas. The EdP smells a bit like burnt milk to me, and he misses the lovely freshness. Fortunately, I haven't had to experience sour milk in my life. 😉
