Very helpful Review
Only Bergamot? Is that so? Are you sure?
...then my nose is unfortunately broken. :)
I received the fragrance today from my dear little gift girl (THANK YOU!) and immediately tested it. A very nice, tart, bitter, dark green, citrusy bergamot at the start, which unfortunately only lasts about 20 minutes. But then... and this is the kicker, a wonderfully beautiful, soapy, creamy floral scent emerges, of which I could swear that a little pink rose is dancing a ring dance on a tiny piece of sandalwood. I simply cannot believe that only bergamot is making an appearance here. It must be a transformation bergamot... Well, I'm not that knowledgeable either. I find it a very nice everyday scent, even on cold days, rather unobtrusive, just for oneself, definitely for the office, after showering, for shopping, for birthdays, for a doctor's visit, simply for feeling good. Very, very nice... very nice... nodding vigorously... yes... indeed... in any case mumble... mumble... sniff... yes... it makes it to the wish list!

Beautifully described, I have the exact same impression! I wonder if there's still a bit of yesterday's scent lingering under the bergamot, but there's definitely more to it.

You can never be completely sure when it comes to stabilizing a fragrance; sometimes, creating the real scent requires other ingredients. But it smells like good bergamot tea, authentic, without the tea scent. The longevity suggests a quality fragrance.

I unfortunately gave away my almost full bottle... The Monothemes are definitely very recommendable, my personal favorite is White Tea, followed by White Musk. Sadly, they're hard to find. By the way, Macchia Mediterranea is also great!
