Very nice, inoffensive summer scent!

Oh yeah, this is very good! It reminds me of Strepsils/lemon candy in the opening, and as it progresses I get this classic Acqua di Gio citruses/fresh notes with some wood note in the background that certainly remind me of the wood in Hugo Boss Bottled for men, the classic one. This is definitely unisex I'd say, and it's perfect for what it is: going out to run errands, on a hot summer day, maybe going to the beach; that type of thing. I'm waiting on its brother "Lime", which I heard it's better according to my taste. I'm a sucker for citrus heavy scents, so my rating is going to be up there!

A very hot summer morning...

... I got up, opened all the windows, and went to take a shower. When I come out of the shower, I dry myself off just a little and head to the kitchen. It's so warm that I'm dry by the time I get there. On the way, I grabbed a T-shirt. In the kitchen, I go to the fridge, open it, take out the bottle, spray it on my chest, pull the shirt over it, and it gets some too. It's cold and fresh. Now I'm awake.

When applying, you simply get a fresh, herbal citrus scent in your nose, and that's it. No more, but also no less. What the fragrance is, however, is very natural and doesn't come across as synthetic.

The longevity and sillage are moderate. At this price, you have to spray it on multiple times, but that's okay.

Here we have a unisex fragrance that, due to its herbal character, is somewhat masculine, so I see it a bit more suited for men than for women. However, women can wear it just as easily. This perfume is ageless and can be worn by anyone from the age of 12 without any issues, but also by someone who is 99 years old. It is a scent for warm and hot days; on cold days, I would apply it before going to sleep. It is suitable for daytime wear at school, university, in the office, during a meal, at a gathering with friends at the ice cream parlor, or even while exercising. In the evening, this scent is really only suitable for a date (it can be subtly sexy on a date) or going to sleep.

Anyone who enjoys a herbal fresh citrus scent will find a great option here for a small price. Best regards from Venice.

Only Bergamot? Is that so? Are you sure?

...then my nose is unfortunately broken. :)

I received the fragrance today from my dear little gift girl (THANK YOU!) and immediately tested it. A very nice, tart, bitter, dark green, citrusy bergamot at the start, which unfortunately only lasts about 20 minutes. But then... and this is the kicker, a wonderfully beautiful, soapy, creamy floral scent emerges, of which I could swear that a little pink rose is dancing a ring dance on a tiny piece of sandalwood. I simply cannot believe that only bergamot is making an appearance here. It must be a transformation bergamot... Well, I'm not that knowledgeable either. I find it a very nice everyday scent, even on cold days, rather unobtrusive, just for oneself, definitely for the office, after showering, for shopping, for birthdays, for a doctor's visit, simply for feeling good. Very, very nice... very nice... nodding vigorously... yes... indeed... in any case mumble... mumble... sniff... yes... it makes it to the wish list!

Super good citrus scent, but unfortunately short-lived

Many thanks to Oloroso for this addition. First, I must honestly say that I am not a fan of fresh citrus perfumes. Therefore, I am also not enthusiastic about "Cool Water" or "Photo," for example.

When I tested "Il Libro degli Agrumi - Bergamotto," I was very positively surprised. It is, as the name suggests, bergamot that surrounds my nose, but of the finest quality. Apart from the bergamot, which is exclusively indicated, I cannot detect anything else. It comes across very naturally and even put me, as an oriental fan, in a very positive mood.

As much as I like the scent itself, the sillage and longevity are quite disappointing. Both barely reach the average level. Some cheap drugstore products last longer, hhmmmm! What a shame, because this wonderful bergamot could have accompanied me for much longer. The bottle would have received 60% from me, but since that option does not exist, it’s only average.

CONCLUSION: A perfume that will surely find friends who love fresh citrus scents in their naturalness and are also willing to carry a travel spray for reapplication.

A bergamot solo, bitter and refreshing. Maybe a bit synthetic, but quite good. Good value.

Unfortunately, there's no sillage at all, citrus-fresh, green - yes, that's correct, but the longevity is terrible. What a shame, there are better ones of this kind.
