Oh - well
The Montale fragrances either elicit a joyful Oh la la - or an irritated Oh well.
However, when reading the ingredient list, I was in a positive mood, as lavender always suits me, and oud, when it’s not too spicy.
But the first spray leaves me taken aback.
I have never smelled such a harsh lavender before. The oud stands its ground against it - and I envision two strong little rams measuring strength, heads pressed together, unwilling to give an inch.
And that’s how the main players, lavender and oud, behave as well.
Both vehemently shout " Here! " and do so with an unpleasant sharpness.
The other listed ingredients are not recognizable behind the " fighting rams."
A brittle scent - without commitment.
The pyramid sounded so interesting.
Perhaps a fragrance for gentlemen who like dominant scents?
I prefer the more pleasing Montales.
