Ginger Musk Montale

After testing my first Montale samples and finding them all good, I looked to see what else was available.
That’s when I discovered Ginger Musk. I love ginger! There’s hardly a more beautiful scent than cutting open a ginger root and smelling the fresh cut surface.
With this association, I ordered my sample.
As soon as it arrived, I put it on right away and was thrilled!
The medicinal-synthetic Montale DNA is again stronger in the opening than, for example, in Day Dreams but not as strong as in Sensual Instinct.
But immediately accompanied by the fresh ginger and complemented by the wonderful musk.
My husband was immediately mega excited and tested the fragrance himself.
The further development is creamy and balanced, becoming velvety sweet, but always underlined by the ginger note.
For me, all components are perfectly coordinated, very special, and so far unique. I don’t know of any comparable ginger scent that is so well-balanced.
The fragrance is not subtle at all. It practically shouts, here I am and I’m staying!
That’s probably the reason why it polarizes so much. I believe there are only two options: either you love it or you hate it. I can’t imagine anyone saying "Yeah, it’s okay, you can wear it sometimes." It’s just too special for that.
So you have to love it if you want to wear it, because the longevity is insane. You can still smell it easily the next morning when you wake up and on your clothes for days.
The sillage is long-lasting but not so overwhelmingly strong that you would disturb others.
The fragrance is unisex in any case.
I immediately ordered the bottle and am thrilled every time again.
