Sweet Peony Montale 2017

I am currently testing this fragrance :)

So far, it tells me a nice story ..

I’m out with the girls and we feel like having a latte macchiato ..
Since we don’t necessarily want to sit on a terrace, we grab a latte to go from our favorite coffee shop.
While we wait for our order, a wonderful floral scent wafts into our noses. It’s a lovely combination with the coffee smell :)

With the coffee in hand, we leave the café and right around the corner is a flower shop. Peonies! Mhhh! That was the floral scent from earlier.. "Could you please make me a nice mixed bouquet?! Mainly peonies."
...
We sip our coffees and sniff the bouquet ..
A wonderful sweetness emerges.. my brain associates the sweetness with a children's song and hits play: "Where is the coconut, where is the coconut.. who stole the coconut.."
:)

The coffee is long gone and the scent has faded .. the flowers and the sweetness remain the main stars .. occasionally a woody note makes itself known..

Arriving home, after hours of walking, I place the flowers in a vase and continue to enjoy this sweet floral splendor.
Floral/sweet/slightly woody..
.. a bit artificial - Montale after all ..
