What's been bothering me for some time is now a fact. Aventus is mainstream and on the way to achieving a similar fate as so many have done before.

For years I had fallen into the 90s JPG Le Male. When the wear was foreseeable, I was again able to satisfy my urge for individuality with Allure Homme Sports for years. And with Dior Homme Intense I had grown together, it was my signature.

Aventus was my entry into the niche, it had everything I was looking for: strong performance, individual DNA and a fragrance that always fits.

Since I got Montblanc Explorer for free, I know that it's over. Anyone can buy Aventus now. And we will. My search starts all over again...

Explorer is from the beginning Aventus, with a little more citrus and synthetics.
But the durability and some more leather make it almost more interesting than the original.
I keep testing it because I still like the composition. Only pride and feeling will be different in the future.
