Individuel Montblanc 2003 Eau de Toilette

It was 2015 and in my mid-20s I was looking for a perfume that stood out from all the stuff that was uniformly worn by all the young men I knew at the time. Even though I know today that the fragrance is no longer an insider tip, the design of the bottle and the name "Individuel", along with the one or other recommendation from larger perfume youtubers, were a good decision-making aid for me to buy the fragrance blindly.
I opened it, sprayed it and it was love at first smell.
I never had any cotton candy or syrup associations. I felt like the cleanest person on earth, you can't lose a court case with this perfume...I never had to test it but I wouldn't be surprised. The mixture of spices and the metallic undertone were a novelty for me at the time, as I had previously only been a fan of Paco Rabanne's Black XS and Boss Bottled.
Unfortunately, after the first bottle, I bought my second on a less reputable site. The fragrance wasn't quite as good as I remembered and the longevity and sillage left a lot to be desired.
When I found out that my favorite fragrance was to be discontinued, I wrote to Mont Blanc and was sadly told that I would have to say goodbye.
When I think back to my studies, I will probably always remember you. If it is ever reissued, I will put my money where my mouth is, and I will do it properly.
For anyone who still has an old bottle in their possession, consider yourself lucky.
