Tihota smells pure and angelic, this thick vanilla scent is much stronger and more powdery. The rum note does not hurt either.

A freshly baked poundcake comes to mind.

The scent opens full and creamy and barely changes after that. Longevity is very good.

Worth every penny because it smells exquisite. A make feel good scent, I can wear this every day.

Vanilla (KL: super fine)

A vanilla scent with only three owners, just one comment, a high rating, only a few sources, and even fewer details online. Of course, this had to go on my watchlist. And last week, my curiosity got the better of me, so I spontaneously ordered a sample from La Schiller. With vanilla buddy Mezzanine (who brought this scent to my attention), it was actually agreed that I would blindly order the whole bottle out of frustration if things didn't work out with "Journey Man," "Blamage," and "L'Homme Ideal," which unfortunately seems to be the case at the moment. But still, I managed to hold back and only ordered a sample for now.

So the beginning is really very delicious and smells like a mandarin curd pastry. It also has a nice scent of the pastry and not just the topping. Then the note comes in that is supposed to represent the rum. I wouldn't necessarily recognize this note directly as rum. It must be a high-quality, long-aged variety, because you often don't recognize the expensive versions of spirits if you've only known the standard versions from the supermarket. At least the rum used is not like the baking rum from Guerlain's "Spiritueuse Double Vanille," but rather reminds me of a chocolate liqueur. So I felt a bit reminded of "Sorriso" as well.

But I've forgotten something now, haven't I? Oh yes, the vanilla, of course. It comes quite soon and quite strongly. Labormaus writes in her comment "rich and full-bodied," and you couldn't describe it better; those were exactly the two adjectives I had in mind before I read her comment. At first, the vanilla is still quite spicy; at one point, I even briefly thought of gentle pepper, but it must have been the saffron. All the aforementioned ingredients fade away more and more over time, and after half an hour, what remains is pretty much what you already know from my two reference vanillas "Vanille West Indies" and "Tihota." So a natural, dry, ethereal, and rather unsweet vanilla that one cannot resist if one likes vanilla. The name of the scent also includes "Sopraffina," and super fine hits the mark. If I didn't already have VWI, I would definitely have bought this scent now. As it is, I don't necessarily need it, but I warmly recommend it to every vanilla lover. There’s simply no better vanilla...

the name says it all!

I was so excited to finally hold this fragrance in my hands!
I searched and hoped for a long time, and thanks to a lovely Parfumo, it finally worked out! Many thanks at this point.

This is a beautiful vanilla scent of the finest quality. As the name suggests, a portion of rum is added, which comes across much more delicately than other candidates from Odin or Frapin.

A wonderful “rich” full-bodied vanilla that is not artificial. The rum gives it a slightly more mature and refined character. It’s a very sensual fragrance that doesn’t undergo much development during wear, but accompanies you even until the next morning.

The My Inner Island fragrances have a sensational concentration of 30%, making them very long-lasting with excellent sillage!
In terms of quality, they are on par with Profumum Roma!

The only downside is the somewhat awkward bottle, which is difficult to close due to the “fringes.”
The bottles were designed by Valentina (owner and perfumer of My Inner Island) herself, and you can tell that a lot of love is put into the whole concept!
All of her fragrances are something special and definitely worth a try!
