Ala Baali - an Oriental Fairy Tale?
By chance, I came across a package containing 9 Arabic fragrances. Among them was Ala Baali. They are all perfume oils, so no EdPs or EdTs, which means they should be applied sparingly.
Ala Baali is one of the most beautiful of these attars for me. In the opening, it is quite herbaceous and fresh citrusy, revealing a heart of flowers.
The flowers are primarily dominated by rose, even though in this case it is the geranium rose according to the pyramid. The dosage is so precisely balanced with the other blossoms that a delicate, light pink rose emerges, giving way to a beautifully warm, soft scent.
This scent impression lasts a good 18 hours; it does become weaker, but is still noticeably present.
It is truly a sensual experience to enjoy such a fragrance. Even when applying it with the short glass stick attached to the cap, with which you spread the oil on your skin. The scent immediately fills the space, and the more it warms on the skin, the more pronounced it becomes.
The flowers blend into the base and are softly embraced by the moss.
The scent sensation is dry but not powdery, incredibly sensual. I never would have believed that I would enjoy fragrances of this kind so much. I am also surprised by their variety. They are by no means heavy, smoky, and overly sweet scents. They show very modern facets - just like Ala Baali, and I look forward to testing each one.

You lucky one, you have so many happy coincidences! I wonder if it has to do with where you live? :) Should I maybe consider moving? :) Beautifully described, it makes me curious.
