Nomen est omen, not at all - Autumn in the Countryside
How deceptive a fragrance name can be, I have once again experienced today. As the last scent from Schahram's thick travel package (many thanks to the donor), I saved the Japanese Spring for the ladies, and it is everything but a spring scent for delicate Japanese women.
First spray and I know what I missed in the namesake men's fragrance: the Hyraceum. The excrement of the rock hyrax emits a sweet mixture with slightly overripe fruit that might just attract fruit flies to my skin.
Lucky me - well, it depends on how you look at it. I now smell musty cellar and hairspray. Grandma has once again used too much "Taft," has descended into the old cellar to fetch the jars of fruit. Somewhere there was also a burst honey jar on the shelf. The whole thing lingers on my skin for what feels like 30 minutes and then?
"The golden autumn time comes..." I am out in the golden autumn sun, the last apples and pears hang on the trees or lie slightly rotten on the meadow, bees are swarming out once more. A last breath of sun and sweetness before winter takes hold.
The scent reminds me of very ripe pome fruit in a lot of honey syrup, a gourmand fragrance. The gardenia adds even more sweetness, while the Hyraceum skillfully tempers it and keeps it bearable. I do not perceive hyacinth.
There are several honey and honey-tobacco scents, those who like that and have been bothered by tobacco so far would be right here. If, yes if, they are willing to pay the high price for Nadia Z. fragrances. The perfume is oily, with a slightly sticky consistency and very economical. It is a natural fragrance, which makes it clear why it costs more.
