Fresh Hazelnut Cream

Sounds crazy, but it's true.
I tried the fragrances from Parfums de Nicolai and didn't expect much. Since I had heard that it is a fragrance house in the very classic French style, I initially thought it might not be for me, but I was proven wrong. Many of the brand's scents smell absolutely grand to my nose, and the quality is noticeably detectable. Above all, Saint Honore blew me away. The fragrance starts with a slightly molecular hazelnut cream and is therefore not sweet at all. It is slightly earthy, yet perfectly balanced. The scent warms beautifully on the skin and becomes warmer and a bit sweeter over time, but it never becomes too much. The sillage is nice; you are noticed, but it is not overwhelming, which is good. The longevity is also great and totally sufficient. A beautiful fragrance that fits well into the cool season but would also be fine in spring, as it is not a cloyingly sweet gourmand, but a wonderfully crafted masterpiece, unlike Guerlains. Great brand with unique scents and Saint Honore is definitely my favorite!

I'm not really into classic scents either, but I find **#l'eau mixte** and **#pavlova** beautiful ❤️
