I don't get a lot of the top notes listed, like passion fruit or grapefruit, but what I do get is stunning. Saffron, ambergris, and leather blend together to make something distinctly beautiful. I may have been influenced by the brands' statement, but I do get a distinct saltiness from it, almost like the scent version of biting into really good parmesan cheese and feeling the salt crystals crunch between your teeth. It's warm and rich, with a mellow sweetness that's incredibly palatable.
