Sad Niche
I’m really sad about how niche perfumery is fading into grey.
I remember when it was about art, originality, class, it was an artistic expression. I really can’t believe that somebody is gonna spend a lotta money on this, to smell like a common Sephora whatever designer perfume.
I’m really bored, the niche world has just become a trend, you can throw whatever juice in a bottle and emulate a designer cologne but as long as the price tag is high, you’re niche.
I’m going back to my roots, to L’Artisan and Diptyque. The modern stuff is absolutely “spot off”.
