Dark Myrrh-Spice Accord
The legendary "Parfum Sacré" is or was a first-class victim of reformulation.
When Sacré was released, my sister bought the extrait in Paris and wore it with great pleasure. Unfortunately, at some point, the fragrance was reformulated. And in a way that outraged my sister, weaker and sweeter.
Fortunately for all fans of the original version, the "Intense" variant was released in 2010, to which this comment refers.
Unfortunately, this variant has also already been discontinued. What a shame! "Parfum Sacré" begins with jasmine, rose, lemon, and warm spices. One quickly perceives the famous myrrh-spice accord, which develops more strongly the longer one wears the perfume. "Parfum Sacré Intense" is a heavy, dark, smoky scent that not everyone can wear. On young wearers, "Sacré" might seem irritating (which does not mean they should avoid the fragrance!), but as an evening scent for a woman or a man who has found their style, "Sacré" is extraordinary and unforgettable. However, the wearer should love smoky notes and spices and dare to stand out.
Not a perfume for the office or for mornings in sweatpants.
