Gargoyle Nui Cobalt Designs 2020

It's really hard to not let lavender smell like a cleaning detergent, and here it's not even close.
It's deep, dark and wild, the one you find clinging to cliffs and stones in the wild, and i immagine it in the same way here, with roots engrained in the rock walls of a small church, a resinous frankincense burning in the background, i smell a bit of wine to even tho it's not in the notes.
This is so dark and so rich it doesn't smell clean at all, on the contrary, it seems like it's trying to hide something.

My first Nui Cobalt and I'm telling you, I'm not disappointed at all. Its amazing! I love when the formulas don't have so many notes, so it gets less confusing and you actually can feel everything. Woah, yes. I can feel the curse of being made of stone, of Rosenkrantz idea of grotesque. Forever still, century after century. Let me tell you - frankincense and stone work just so well together. I get the littlest hint of lavender, but I like it this way.
