Transparent Aventus + wild berry iced tea
After testing Creed Aventus Absolue in my favorite perfumery, I was immediately impressed. The typical Aventus DNA was there - fresh, masculine, elegant - but it was complemented by a new depth that made the fragrance special. Not just the classic, but an independent further development. While looking for a cheaper alternative, I came across this fragrance. I ordered it blind - you couldn't go far wrong at that price, I thought to myself.

Packaging & bottle

When the package arrived, the first impression was definitely positive. The packaging is, as you would expect from many alternative brands, quite eye-catching and opulent. The bottle itself looks high-quality: solid glass, a metal frame, a metal cap - it all feels solid. The spray head is also well made. Not luxurious, but functional and reliable. All in all, a well-rounded overall picture that is well above what you would expect in this price range.

Fragrance & impression

I was a little unsure when I first tested it - I sprayed it on in the car when it was over 30 degrees outside. The fragrance seemed flat, almost invisible. In hindsight, it was probably not a good idea to test it directly after another fragrance in the heat. The next day, I tried it again - this time without a previous fragrance, under normal conditions. And there it was: fresh, clear, elegant. It was immediately noticeable that this fragrance is different from many Aventus dupes.

What makes it special

It is lighter, airier, not as dense or intense as Aventus Absolue. And that's a good thing. It is not loud, not intrusive, but remains discreetly in the background and gradually unfolds. But what makes it really special is that the combination of clove and blackcurrant gives it a fruity, spicy wild berry iced tea note that blends wonderfully with the Aventus base. No pineapple as in the classic - and this is exactly what sets it apart from many imitations. It is more of a modern, elegant interpretation, not a 1:1 copy.

Wearing behavior

The fragrance remains evenly on the skin throughout the day. It hardly changes, but is always slightly perceptible. It is not a fragrance that fills the room - but one that you notice in conversations or encounters. And that's exactly what makes it so wearable. My environment reacted positively, my buddy spontaneously said that I smelled "like a fresh shower" - and that's definitely a compliment.

Conclusion

For me, this is not just a dupe, but a real alternative with its own character. It is clearly based on Aventus, but goes its own way - lighter, more modern, more suitable for everyday use. Perfect for anyone who is looking for something along these lines but doesn't want to wear the usual. And a fragrance that hardly anyone knows - ideal as a signature scent with recognition value. A no-brainer in terms of price anyway.
