Don't judge a book by its cover!
This oudy oil starts out extremely foul - almost nasally reacting to the first scent impression, I decide not to try to get rid of it as quickly as possible, but to give it a chance: That can't be it yet!

And that's not all: after the first half hour on my skin, the beautiful, subtly sweet, (pleasantly) oudy side of this fragrance emerges and after about an hour you can enjoy it to the full.

It's hard to imagine that this is the same fragrance that smelled like feces an hour ago! After wearing it several times, however, I can confirm that there can be no confusion - so that's what the Mukhallath Haramain is like.

Here you can enjoy moist oud wood bedded on moss in an amazingly well-balanced combination with sweet amber. I think this composition is amazing because you can call it your own for as little as €5 (five).

For true thoroughbred lovers of oriental fragrance experiences: After its faecal start, Mukhallath Haramain is reminiscent of bakhoor oud, the perfumed wood chips that you use on a burner as a room fragrance - or traditionally to perfume your clothes.

A great place to go for those interested in experimenting with oud - the fecal side of Indian oud cannot be denied here. Happy testing!
