And There's the Rub...
This predates the whole "soapy clean-just showered fresh offerings of "Fresh", "Philosophy", and "Clean" fragrances and is closer in style and genre to a short lived line of unique fragrances called "Just Smell This" which had a full body care line/shower/fragranced nail polish in a scent called "Wet Clean Laundry" and "Warm Dry Towels, a solid 20 years before "Clean borrowed the concept of successfully trying to smell like a dryer sheet in the Spring sunshine became popular. Anyway, let me keep this on track. Eau d'Orlane is a well made unctuous fresh citrus soapy rose and neroli fragrance with beautifully pronounced aldehydes fresh breezy but unsweetened orange blossoms and the complex structure of a classic green chypre with the functionality of a brilliant white splash of light. This is not a dime store production, rather a dance of noble pink English garden tea rose, joyful bergamot and Lily-of-the Valley wrapped in a sheer veil of Orris butter for a bit of powder softness. The base blends flawless into this symphony and it feels like spraying One's self with an Aura cleanser to produce a carefree spirit of a tiny delicate but enchanting little winged creature. Perfect for daytime. office in the Spring and Summer. This is a liquid attitude corrector for any pouty face. Simple beautiful! Longevity is about 3-5 hours on my arm with 1 spray. If you come across this it is a great value and an excellent addition to any fragrance collection.
