Exquisite and classical
I blind bought it, based purely on the notes and reviews. I was searching for a boozy, liqueur based perfume for glamorous dinners and special occasions. I've sampled several times Angel's Share, but always felt a little underwhelmed with its performance especially considering its price.
I wanted prominent booze, with some cocoa and vanilla sweetness and L'Ivrée Bleue at least based of the description was providing just that.

At first spray you are greeted with a smell of liqueur filled chocolate candy. The chocolate note that is listed at the base is very prominent for me at the top. Mixed with mandarin orange it evokes a block of dark chocolate with oranges.

As the perfume settles the boozyness gives way to more dark chocolate mixed with slight spiciness that slowly dissolves into creamy smooth vanilla. Kind of reminds me of Black Tie by Celine, but without smoke and with extra depth lent by cocoa.

Overall it's a beautiful, classical "grown-up" scent that is perfect for special occasions like a night at the opera or romantic candle lit dinner at the fancy restaurant. Make sure to dress the scent up with proper attire - long silky gown for women and black tie for men is a must with L'Ivrée Bleue

I still need to test it out for its longevity and sillage.

The bottle is exquisite and feels like a piece of art.

Cocoa Without a Kick
Cocoa tempts me. However, this is not a bitter cocoa. Rum and patchouli complement it fabulously. However, I miss a kick, something that gives this lush, cozy dessert scent a bitter accent. Since I am not a perfumer, I can hardly say what I am missing here, but I do feel it. I prefer my cocoas unsweetened, strong, and bitter. This one is elegant, but there is too much sugar in it.

Afternoon Sex
Anne is 40 and she has lost patience, patience with men who don’t know what they’re doing.
She no longer wonders how it should be, how she should be.
No, she has the courage to give herself completely and to say what she needs. She doesn’t have to prove or pretend anything anymore, neither lustfulness nor shyness.
She knows, "Sex and the City Sex" is anyway invented and hold-up stockings roll...
Without haste, a little sex, a glass of wine, a little sex, lounging naked with a beautiful book in the hotel bed of her own city, a little wine, a little sex and chocolate and laughter, a lot of laughter....

'L' Ivrée Bleue' by Ormaie is for me such a sensual afternoon. Not a "high performer," a quiet connoisseur. Its lazy, languorous vanilla is sexy but not flashy.
The cocoa note and a slight smokiness keep boredom at bay.
All ingredients are 100% natural and the recycled glass bottle is really beautiful.
I can’t imagine it on a man; I see it more on women like Anne, who are no longer in their 20s.

Fragrance Art at a High Level
I am very pleased to be the first to write a comment here. A fragrance company with 100 percent natural scent has left me somewhat speechless; the glass bottles are made from recycled glass and the wooden cap is handmade and also made from recycled wood - wow, impressive!
But what are such scents like??? Different, special, unusual, very captivating and beautiful. Here is my description:
A dark but not very sweet, slightly smoky vanilla note that has formed a liaison with dark aromatic perhaps Swiss fine chocolate, curiously accompanied by a good drop of rum - you can guess it, a gourmand enters the stage. But very subtly with a fine discreet fruity nuance, violet and iris - both lilac-colored powdery plants contribute their nobility, something very exquisite is created and envelops me. I have never smelled anything like this, extraordinary, special, and I am very much in love. I carry a very beautiful and fine fragrance aura with me! The bottle is a delight to hold, at 190 euros for 100 ml it is a bit exclusive. Where can you get it? Pssst, I’ll tell you - at Oberpollinger in Munich. I think I will take a look at one or two fragrances from this special brand. I hope there will be more such fragrance ideas.... absolutely recommendable!

This is both sweet (violet) and bitter (dark chocolate). Unique, I never smelled anything like this. Cacao Porcelana is less sweet.

Come under my blanket, you drunken sailor, and tell me about the South Seas.
Rum, vanilla, patchouli - and for me, coconut instead of violet.

Powdery (iris root), almost a bit dusty (probably the cocoa) with a sweet undertone I can't quite identify. Not my style.

Cocoa-rum-patchouli dessert, a lush embrace. Despite the sweetness, it's very wearable as it's quite natural. South Seas/Gauguin? Not bad for Christmas.

Powdery cocoa + rum hits me right away. And dark, rich patchouli. I don't smell any flowers. Gourmand with an edge, nice.

The lily at the start bothers me.
Rum-vanilla with a distinct cocoa.
On a slightly smoky musk powder.
Very soft, beautiful,
But tooooo sweet.

At first, I smell coconut, then it transforms into wintry vanilla-rum-chocolate sprinkled with violet flowers. Floral gourmand.

Wonderful dark powdery cocoa-chocolate scent on soft vanilla. Herb-spicy rum edge. Not too sweet at all. Very pleasant and wearable.
