Perfect Unobtrusive Harmony - Skin Scent with Recognition Value
After receiving the fragrance from the sharing, I initially sprayed it cautiously on my wrist and wasn't immediately convinced, as I couldn't categorize the scent when applied so point-wise. In my impression, you really have to wear the fragrance to be able to judge it. So, I generously sprayed Privé today before heading into the city center (last Christmas shopping). The individual components are difficult for me to sniff out, and I don't want to fall into the rightly criticized pyramid writing here. For me, Privé is a completely harmonious composition of soft, unsweetened, and unobtrusive flowers, starting off somewhat citrusy, but neither bitter and sour, nor fruity and sweet, but simply light, unobtrusive, and floating. These two elements, the floral notes and the citrus, are connected in the most harmonious way by a component that is unfamiliar to me in fragrances: I think it is the scent of basmati rice. Honestly, I wouldn't have come to this note without the indication in the pyramid. But once pointed out, you can definitely smell this note and understand it. It is an extremely mild fragrance, without being sweet, powdery, creamy, or even gourmand. It makes the scent special, harmonious, gives substance, and creates a wonderful connection of the fragrance notes with the skin of the wearer (I perceive Privé as a distinctly feminine scent). Therefore, I referred to Privé in the title as a skin scent. However, this has nothing to do with animalistic skin scents; the fragrance retains a lightness and freshness until the dry down. A fragrance that emphasizes the personality of the wearer and, in my view, is always and everywhere wearable: Privé has the potential to be a signature scent. Sillage and longevity are in the medium range. I am extremely taken with this completely new and wonderful fragrance experience and would like to sincerely thank the organizer of the sharing!
