Since today, I am the proud owner of this truly unique fragrance.. when I sprayed it for the first time, it was love at first sniff.. I have never smelled such a perfect gourmand fragrance as this one! I am really a fan of gourmand scents and have smelled many.. but this perfect interplay of fragrance notes is truly like a symphony for the nose: everything fits perfectly together and creates a masterclass composition like in a classical concert..
The opening (the overture) is a hazelnut like I have never smelled before, incredibly fine and smooth, and not piercing, it caresses the nose with such a seductively delicate sweetness and leaves you wanting more, absolutely not overwhelming or sticky but incredibly elegant.
After a few minutes, the iris butter gradually joins in, cushioned on a light vanilla bed with a few individual delicately scented rose petals, and a hint of jasmine wafts through the window, tickling the nose in an incredibly cozy way. The hazelnut note remains throughout the entire fragrance journey and is the main player along with the vanilla and the slightly floral tones.
Overall, this perfume is an olfactory masterpiece and you can’t get enough of it. Absolutely not a gourmand that gives you a headache. I see it as completely suitable for everyday wear, but it can also be worn very well in the office.
The sillage and longevity are overwhelming, and one should be cautious with the dosage.. 3-4 sprays are more than enough to enchant your surroundings!
