I had this Ortigia filled up yesterday at L. so that I can test it in peace. Today I regret not having bought it!
The scent is simple, but really well done! Finally, a fig scent that smells like fig, doesn’t develop a strange herbaceous note, and doesn’t drift into being too sweet.
The scent progression is linear and beautifully supports the prickly pear. The orange blossom gives it a slight freshness at the beginning, and the sandalwood adds a subtle woodiness to the fig in the base, encouraging it to last longer.
The longevity is quite decent, and the presence is moderate. Since it contains natural ingredients, you should definitely test the scent on your skin.
I forgot to mention something in my comment about Ambra Nera. Although the packaging for Ortigia Aqua Colonia states otherwise, it is generally Eau de Toilette.
Unfortunately, it remains just soap, albeit a noble and high-quality one, but still "just" soap. I'm not sad at all, though, since I have a few lovely fig scents in my cabinet... :)
That's right, it's super beautiful and somehow different from the other figs. My favorite in the series is the pure sandalwood scent! I think it's called "Sandalo." I think it's amazing!
But it's nice, even if it's not a candidate for purchase.
