Love hate : Bergamask

Orto Parisi - Alessandro Gualtieri, a master of his craft and a master at putting together fragrances that polarize.

Bergamask is also a fragrance that polarizes.

I was recently in a Munich club and already when entering the rather large dance floor I perceived a very pleasant warm scent, he has filled the whole room, although many people have danced sweaty next to each other, fog machines are running throughout, etc.
The scent was always present but never intrusive perceptible. When I walked through the people, I passed a friend and now I knew where the scent came from. I asked him directly what a blatant fragrance he wears there please?! Orto Parisi Bergamask!

I have the fragrance all night until the early morning extremely perceived, yes you have him literally already smelled around the corner.

I had to order the fragrance immediately, of course.

Of course I know that a perfume does not smell the same with everyone, nevertheless, I was very excited about the fragrance.
When I got him and tested at home, I was no longer so enthusiastic, I felt him as quite citrusy and nowhere near as warm as my friend.

But well, some fragrances need time,
After the drydown, which takes a bit longer for this strong fragrance, the notes unfolded that I smelled that night in question. The initial very citrus, of which I'm actually not a big fan, develops into a very pleasant musk lastigen animalic smell, which radiates a nice warm.

It is not a fragrance that is well received everywhere, even I lead a love-hate relationship with him, there are days I have to smell again and again on my wrist but also times days where I regret it to have used him because he projects so extremely and that can sometimes be too much of a good thing
