Megamare Orto Parisi 2019

After my experience with Megamare today I have to write something about it. It was more by chance that I came across the scents of Orto Parisi. While surfing through the souk in the evening I noticed an offer from Seminalis. Some kind of residual filling from a sharing. Evaluation wasn't the bomb, but it was worth a test. A few days later the bottling arrived and I was hooked. Why this bad rating (Well, not that bad ;-) ) . In any case, I then came across a bottling of Megamare in the souk. Only just under 4ml, but what the heck. The first test had this wow moment. In my 2.5 years at Parfumo I have certainly tested a few hundred fragrances and only rarely has there been this "wow". Since there is no pyramid of scents and my nose is not so fine to decipher a scent, I would agree with the term "salty aquat". Well, even though I had only taken one sprayer, the rest of my family, as soon as it appeared downstairs in the living room, immediately responded. But not as hoped for "Oh, you smell great, what's that smell? I like it!", but more like "Whoa, what's that smell? Is that you? Fierce!" It was, as I said, only 1 sprayer ;-)! In the course of the evening the general rejection turned into a "Yes, now you can bear it quite well. Actually, it's okay." Anyway, a short time later the bottle moved into my home. By the way, I think the bottle and the whole packaging are quite successful. A sprayer towards the neck with an outstretched arm has proven to be a very good dosage. Yeah, sounds kind of crazy. What difference does it make how you spray the stuff on yourself? I somehow convince myself that the spray mist will be better distributed ;-)
Let's get to today's experience. Due to the weather situation today's carnival procession was cancelled and I went with my family to a relatively spontaneous, small celebration. Since the disguise somehow smelled like a year's cupboard, I allowed 2 sprayers with today. What can I say - the whole room smelled of me. I was already glad that the door to the outside was open all the time. Not that you misunderstand me, I like the scent and I like to smell it very much. But that was then somehow too much of the attention. Therefore, whatever you do, never do more than a spray!!!
I think that most "perfume smugglers" (is that how you say it? - laugh) don't like this scent, because it is too extreme, or is perceived as too extreme. I don't find it at all extreme as a fragrance. Sure, extraordinary, but not extreme.
You just have to be careful with the dosage. From my bottle I will probably fill about 30ml for the souk. The remaining 20ml will last for years if used twice a week.
So if you are looking for something extraordinary, you should consider a test. Some love him, others...
