Signature Extrême Otto Kern 2020

Extreme is the sixth fragrance in the Signature line for men. Generally, I quite like scents from Otto Kern. So I had to get a small bottle to test the latest creation.

Shortly after spraying, Extreme is sweet and aromatic. I can't smell pineapple, but I can detect sage and nutmeg. Unfortunately, a dull bitter almond note quickly emerges, which doesn't last long and somewhat overshadows the spicy sweetness.

It also becomes floral, but not too much; I can hardly recognize the orange blossom. Instead, it gets quite earthy, although patchouli is not listed.

The earthiness does recede, but it remains present almost until the sweet-balsamic finish.

For me, Signature Extreme is the weakest scent in the line. The similarity to Signature Man is quite evident, but it also resembles Le Male by JPG, without being able to hold a candle to either.

Due to its sweetness, it is ideal for me, especially in the cold season. The projection is subtle; after three hours, the scent is only very close to the skin. However, the longevity is quite decent at around seven hours. The bottle feels good in the hand, and the spray head is of high quality.
