Every man needs at least one leather scent… I thought. Only to realize that even the top-rated leather fragrances smell too much and very strictly of new suede for me. Why not. My associations, however, were different.
This one somehow manages to avoid that "sour preservatives" note, which makes it feel very "mature." Simply darker and earthier. And then it actually turns into a dark floral scent where a tiny bit of oud peeks through in the background, which becomes more pronounced as the flowers fade away. The finale returns to leather. It’s certainly not the new bestseller, but this combination with the coherent intertwining and sequence of the aforementioned components makes it a reliable friend.
I only have the 6-ml Concentrated Perfume Free From Alcohol Deo Roller in front of me, and I haven’t found anything else online quickly. Therefore, evaluating the sillage is a bit tricky.
The bottle is once again typically Made in U.A.E. Rough pressed glass with a label that has edges sticking out, so poorly does it adhere. And anyone who, like me, thinks they need to pull off the cap will immediately split it, as it is actually screwed on. But whoops, the plastic insert is back in the cap made of ultra-thin original trumpet metal. Overall, it has the appearance just above a plastic capsule from a gumball machine. It just smells much better.
Conclusion: You can definitely pick it up if the opportunity arises.
