A Tropical Evening Breeze
Island Passion has a very fine and delicate scent, primarily of flowers and dry woods.
There is a light fruitiness that reminds me a bit of mango or another tropical fruit. Beneath that lies a sweet, resinous note. As for the floral notes, I would guess Ylang Ylang, although I wouldn't describe Island Passion as a pronounced floral scent -- balsamic-spicy is probably the closest description.
Island Passion is a beautiful, warm fragrance, but unfortunately for me, it has low sillage (I prefer stronger scents) and longevity. But that's generally my experience with solid perfumes, with very few exceptions (e.g., "Love the Mango" from the same brand).
The packaging of these solid perfumes is particularly special and has also been awarded for its sustainability! They come in round, smooth wooden boxes that remind me of coconuts in shape.
In spray form, the Pacific Perfumes would be an absolute hit for me, as the scents are definitely unique and wonderfully tropical. As solid perfumes, they just don't cling to my skin as well, but other fragrance fans might fare better with them -- the lucky ones!
