A different kind of shower gel freshness
Thanks to Sir Lancelot, I also received a sample of this one. I tested it without reading up on it beforehand and to be honest, I am very surprised. Unisex scent? Hmm. For me, from the first moment to the last, it was clearly a men's fragrance. A very good one, but in my opinion, it's not really for women.
I can't clearly identify the pineapple here, unlike in other fragrances. I like pineapple, but here the good fruit seems to somehow get lost. What I perceive is a pleasantly dark, slightly bitter freshness. And this darkness makes me associate the scent more with men. I like what I sniff, no doubt about it. But just as I can't grasp the unisex aspect, I wonder what it has to do with the air. If I had to assign the scent to an element, it would have been water. It's a shame that I don't know the others in the series and therefore can't compare.
I can recommend this scent to all gentlemen who are in the mood for a pleasantly spicy fresh fragrance that doesn't bombard you with Ambroxan like Sauvage and its ilk do, while still bringing a feeling of being freshly showered. This one fits wonderfully after sports for my nose. And I would also say it's quite appropriate for the office.
In summer, I don't really see it either. I would rather categorize it for spring or autumn. But in principle, it can be worn on any occasion.
