A different kind of shower gel freshness
Thanks to Sir Lancelot, I also received a sample of this one. I tested it without reading up on it beforehand and to be honest, I am very surprised. Unisex scent? Hmm. For me, from the first moment to the last, it was clearly a men's fragrance. A very good one, but in my opinion, it's not really for women.

I can't clearly identify the pineapple here, unlike in other fragrances. I like pineapple, but here the good fruit seems to somehow get lost. What I perceive is a pleasantly dark, slightly bitter freshness. And this darkness makes me associate the scent more with men. I like what I sniff, no doubt about it. But just as I can't grasp the unisex aspect, I wonder what it has to do with the air. If I had to assign the scent to an element, it would have been water. It's a shame that I don't know the others in the series and therefore can't compare.

I can recommend this scent to all gentlemen who are in the mood for a pleasantly spicy fresh fragrance that doesn't bombard you with Ambroxan like Sauvage and its ilk do, while still bringing a feeling of being freshly showered. This one fits wonderfully after sports for my nose. And I would also say it's quite appropriate for the office.

In summer, I don't really see it either. I would rather categorize it for spring or autumn. But in principle, it can be worn on any occasion.

Aria - Air
This fragrance series by Paolo Gigli is dedicated to the 4 elements.
This one symbolizes air.
Really fresh and airy, this scent is only so at the beginning. The top notes come across as very fresh, especially the citrus notes. In this phase, the fragrance truly feels like a gentle, fresh breeze, but not "thin" - rather with a lot of volume. Unfortunately, these notes fade quite quickly on my skin, revealing the base notes.
Tonka bean and vanilla dance around the fresh lemon notes. The fragrance gains warmth and becomes darker. When a patchouli note is added, the scent loses its airiness and becomes somewhat "earthy." Soft, smooth, and dark patchouli with a bit of tonka bean and a hint of vanilla, along with some floral notes from jasmine and gardenia, are now the dominant notes of this fragrance. Later, a bit of musk is added to give the scent some freshness again, but the dark patchouli still takes center stage, while the bright musk cannot quite compete.
For me, this is not the fragrance I had hoped for; too much patchouli comes out very strongly on my skin. It's a pity because the scent itself is very harmonious, and the fragrance components blend into a nice scent without sharp or disturbing notes.
The fragrance is not exactly a light and airy choice for summer, but rather more of an autumn/winter scent.
