Châtelaine Parfum-Individual Harry Lehmann 2011

I did it! After dear Harielle left me an answer to my angling howling comment and recommended me to test Mr. Lehmann's no. 84, I wrote a mail to Mr. Lehmann after a short hesitation (the price really doesn't hurt) and ordered the same fragrance. The order process is really very unusual, there is neither an order confirmation nor a shipping info - the package was simply delivered one week later. And there it was. Mr. Lehmann's castle maid has moved in with me since Saturday, in a 10ml atomizer. Well, what can I say ...

After several attempts on test strips, on fabric, of course also on me, I am torn. I must admit that it is extremely daring to recommend a (former) most passionate (note the superlative) Angel lover a fragrance similar to Angel. That can only go in the pants ;-)
I tested Miro's Blue Star years ago for fun and was horrified at how anyone could even remotely compare it to Angel. Sure, it smells a little like that, but...

A year ago Aysha from Al Haramain fell into my hands or rather into my nose through a blind purchase. In a touch of euphoria I recognized Angel again - and wrote a cheering comment in ecstasy. After two days I came to my senses again and had to admit that the test strip on which the wishful thinking had a miserable rest, had nothing to do with Angel. I deleted the comment again.

So, what's wrong with the damsel in distress? Actually she is quite nice, the Chantalle, and I would like her so much, because she has no airs and graces me with her friendly, light and airy air from her rooms (respectively the bottle) ...

Ah, she uses shower gel. This is unexpected. Of course, there's nothing to say against nobility smelling fresh and clean, but showering??
She has nibbled, I quietly hear a nice chocolate with bitter aroma, with slightly sweet vanilla. She is also a bit tipsy, I smell a light liqueur flag. I even like that.
All in all she is really nice and we spend a nice and entertaining afternoon together. In the evening she sinks tiredly down on her sofa and smells slightly and not at all unpleasantly a little bit before she falls asleep and then disappears with a quiet puff like a bottle.
That's not how we became friends, Chantalle and I, she is a bit too superficial for me and she lacks depth and facets, the effervescence, the spontaneity. She just couldn't inspire me, like ... oh yes, she could.

It is unfair to compare the damsel of the castle with the enormous composition, this work of art Angel, which has accompanied me for years like a very best friend. I understand the most enthusiastic comments and I really have to admit that I find the value for money really excellent! If you test this fragrance without any bias, you might be positively surprised here!
