In the first few seconds, I mentally prepared myself for heavy, warm amber incense with cinnamon-spiced notes and strong date sweetness (which is tough for me), but a subtle, underlying mint note keeps the initial intensity in check. The scent develops dry, shimmering, and becomes lighter over time. Cumin is very present. You have to like it - and I love it! Birch tar, vetiver, and cedar tame the sweet resins, while I have to use my imagination for the patchouli. A surprising, multifaceted fragrance beauty with an intriguing inner contradiction.
