Yes,this is the matcha.

I finally found the real "matcha". But I'll say it first. The scent disappears very quickly. At 31 degrees and 56% humidity, the scent disappears instantly. Well, this is not very helpful because Japanese summers are abnormally hot.
As I wrote in this review( "Black Tea (Eau de Parfum) | Fernanda / フェルナンダ" ), oolong tea, green tea, and black tea are all the same tea leaves, so it's difficult to tell the difference. So this is amazing. If you look it up, you'll see that the degree of fermentation is different. Green tea is not fermented. However, matcha is "aged" in the shade. what gives it its "umami" flavor. I wrote about that in a blog when I tried this perfume on paper. Please take a look if you have time.

It's hard to explain, but this is very, very matcha. The bitterness, astringency, and flavor of matcha are well reproduced. And the iris gives it a "coolness". It's great, well made. Matcha should not contain orange blossom, fig, or vanilla. Lol, that would be a sub-type of matcha. Of course, perfume is an "art", so it is up to the perfumer.

This is a perfect reproduction of the scent in the air when matcha is added, where Poudre Matcha failed. It's the winner.

But it's "cold". It's not hot matcha. Another Japanese person said, "It's like cold green tea on a summer's day, poured into a clear glass cup", and I can understand that. It's either green tea or matcha. Summer, the sound of cicadas, tatami mats, corn boiled by grandma, the smell of a wooden house. Cumulonimbus clouds, sudden downpours, mosquito coils, buying ice cream at a convenience store at night. Joe Hisaishi's piano, a summer mirage. Japanese summer disappearing like a heat haze. It's a clear, yet very sad scent that makes me want to repeat August 31 forever.

Also, in Japan, sugar is never added to green tea or matcha. It's not a matter of preference or person, but 100% of the time it's not added. I've never seen any relatives or friends add sugar. So, when I hear a sweet scent in "green tea" or "matcha," I feel that it can't be called the real thing...I'm being completely honest here, so it is not complaining.Well, the story about matcha is getting long, so I'll stop here.

Also, if you want to try all the Parfum Satori flavors, I recommend "@cosmeTOKYO" in Harajuku, Tokyo. They have all the flavors here, as well as other niche Japanese perfumes.
