I smell powder

I got this one and i was very queries about it because i love to drink a matcha thee and so in love with the smell of it.
So i opened the box and tried??? Where is the matcha? At the beginning all i smell is a very powdery and floral scent.
Ok. I was like “ hopefully the dry down will change to matcha “ so I waited 20/30 min to get it dry. And???
Still no matcha still a lot of powder and flowers. So i don’t get it. The name is matcha but hmmm. I don’t know i don’t smell anything that comes near a matcha. Maybe its my crazy nose. ?_?

So my conclusion. Very feminine very powdery and floral scent a real woman’s thing.

The bottom of a bowl of matcha shaved ice after eating

Well, it's very difficult to recreate the scent of matcha. In the first place, even if you make matcha, it doesn't have a strong scent like coffee or black tea. It reminds me of a well-made Febreze with green tea ingredients. However, it's less synthetic.
I feel a strange and indescribable comfort as a perfume, so I probably won't buy the bottle, but I think I'll use up the sample. This might be the type that "the flavor comes out as you chew it, like dried squid," and you might like it very much. However, if you're looking for something gourmand, you can pass it up because it's not at all what you'd expect. This is a "perfume," so don't expect real matcha powder. It's more like the matcha syrup left at the bottom of matcha-flavored shaved ice.

Watercolor matcha latte

Scents that smell like milky green tea or matcha lattes are one of my favorite specific fragrance subgenres, so I had to try this and am not surprised that I find it lovely.

It has that unmistakable matcha note in the opening that always smells a little toasty and warm to me. I think I sense a bit of a subtle puffed rice note, too. The scent quickly turns fresher, almost citrus, like regular green tea perfumes. I often find those either boring or a bit too harshly fresh for my tastes, but here the notes are balanced perfectly. Fluffy white musk and a hint of vanilla soften the scent considerably, so it has more of a milky tea vibe and feels like a soft, powdery cloud over your skin. The rose is another nice addition, it's very light and adds a fresh, feminine note that keeps the scent from going too far into realistic gourmand territory.

My absolute favorite tea scent of all time is Margiela's sadly discontinued Tea Escape, which I find very suitable for spring. It's fresh, but doesn't feel transparent due to the strong milk and rice notes. It's successor, Matcha Meditation, also has a certain opaqueness, thanks to the white chocolate note.
Poudré Matcha is like a watercolor version of this concept, the vanilla and musk here are so light and airy that it could be worn on the hottest days of summer. Which is also my main criticism, this could really be a bit stronger, it's light even among the other Memori fragrances.

I'm not sure if I will buy this because realistically, there won't be many days a year where I'd want to wear a green tea scent and find Tea Escape to heavy. But still, it's beautiful.

Unusual tea scent development?

The scent begins with a whisper of matcha powder. At first, it doesn’t reveal itself as matcha, cloaked in a powdery, chalky veil mixed with a nutty aroma, reminiscent of rice tea powder and a hint of jasmine. Gradually, the fragrance unfolds, revealing notes of greenish tea with a touch of lemon. This development feels almost backward, usually starting with the fresh, zesty notes of tea and lemon before settling into powdery, floral depths.

The fragrance is quite enchanting, though it emerges delicately. It takes about 30 minutes before its presence blossoms fully on my skin.

Where is the Zen garden, the tea ceremony in Kyoto?

A few years ago, I traveled to Japan with a good friend who had long been curious about Japan, especially Tokyo, while I hadn’t really considered Japan as a travel destination at all.
(I didn’t want to leave Japan after the 2 weeks!)
To get in the mood, we regularly prepared the "trendy drink" of the time at home, a Matcha (Iced) Latte; the expensive matcha tea powder with almond milk, a bit of agave syrup, and crushed ice.
The tea itself tasted slightly bitter and herbal, softened by the sweetness of the agave syrup and the creamy almond milk.

With this perfume, I wonder; is that tea I smell in the opening?!
In any case, I perceive the scent of green home nature in spring, when nature seems to be bursting with life and everything is sprouting and growing, when the earth is steaming after a warm spring/summer thunderstorm.
Nevertheless, the scent is perfumed, seriously elegant floral, until it gradually transforms into a soft powdery scent that oscillates between slightly sweet and clean.
A similar feeling arises that I sometimes have with certain other floral perfumes: that they remind me of the scents my mother wore in the 90s; serious, fresh to soft & serious, but also somehow "warm-heartedly maternal."
Not a bad scent, but it doesn’t evoke in me the urge to wear it myself.
