If it weren't for this spice...

Blue Mandarine is a fragrance that works particularly well in summer.
This citrus facet of the scent is really nice and well designed. However, it also has a certain spiciness that I can't quite explain. I don't know exactly where these relatively prominent impressions come from.

The spice, however, makes it great to wear in other seasons as well. To me, this spice combined with the citrus feels a bit uneven, and it seems to be trying to find itself the whole time, which is why I can't rate it any higher.
The perfect harmony is not quite achieved, but it's still not bad. Therefore, I have to give it a 7.5.

Grapefruit, clementine, mandarin, and ginger are well noticeable.
The grapefruit is beautifully citrusy and slightly bitter. Clementine & mandarin are lightly citrusy and pleasantly sweet.
Then there's neroli, although I don't perceive the neroli as being that strong.
The ginger brings a certain light citrus sharpness and probably the so-called "uneven" spice.

Unisex to wear?
Definitely.
Performance?
For a citrus summer fragrance, it's actually quite decent.
The scent lasts on me for 7/8 hours.

I especially liked Black Tar and Typewriter from the house.
