Tonka Fever Parfumerie Particulière

... Tonka Fever...
about the house:
Created by longtime friends Guillame and Charles.
So far, a purely unisex fragrance collection.
Inspired by modern art.
It is there immediately, instantly present, instantly "ready for action."
Fragrance:
Tonka Fever starts off with a peppery note, almost biting in the first seconds. After a few minutes, tonka bean/vanilla joins in. Both remain on par for a long time.
After about 30 minutes, the tonka bean slightly pulls ahead of the vanilla, which still tries to keep up. It manages to do so from time to time. They alternate a bit.
A spirituous accord joins in third place, slightly behind the vanilla and tonka bean.
But rum? Not really.
My colleague associates it with a visit to a gin distillery:-), which slightly reminds of juniper, although the latter does not appear in the fragrance pyramid.
Also easily confused with the pepper notes.
Hendricks gin with pepper and a bit of cucumber:-)? Here, of course, we leave out the cucumber:-).
Smoky and also very minimal leathery notes take over after about 1 hour.
In these small nuances, patchouli is also present.
Longevity:
Quite decent. Depending on skin type, 7-11 hours.
Sillage:
Well and long perceivable from 1 meter away.
Bottle:
I like the interplay of cement gray and black here.
A beautiful fragrance, there's no other way to say it. Whether it is worth 190€ is something I will leave open. That should be decided by each person for themselves.
Clear unisex fragrance, I wouldn't say if it leans more towards ladies or gentlemen.
