36° and it’s getting even hotter...
For everyone who finds 36° too much, Parfums 137 has created a remedy: Spearmint! This is such a beautiful, fresh, and absolutely not boring mint scent that it is sure to delight both wearers and those who catch a whiff.
The Hierbabuena, as mint is called in Spain, is wonderfully blended here with fruity orange and accompanied by delicate flowers. After a while, a subtle woody note joins in. It really lifts your spirits!
All in all, a refresher as I imagine it for summer! The only downside: the longevity. And unfortunately, this applies to all Parfums 137 scents. They last for 2 hours, then there is a gentle hint on the skin for about another hour - after that, nothing more.
By now, I’m not even surprised anymore. Many current fragrances - in every price segment - show a rather short longevity that cannot be compared to the perfumes of "the past." It’s just politics - you sell more when it lasts shorter - I’m just saying: bunker flacons.
The sillage is, in my opinion, fine; the wearer smells good and it’s also very pleasant for those around.
With Parfum 137, I don’t even mind the short longevity. The scents are affordable and very practical for on-the-go. And after all, it’s meant for daytime, and if it’s completely gone by the evening, that’s also convenient for my very personal evening/outgoing scent!
They are available exclusively in handy and handbag-friendly 15ml flacons, where you can buy only one variety or mixed assortments - as I did, for example. I bought the assortment "Hollywood Stromboli 1950," with spearmint, immortelle, and myrtle - everything a woman needs!
Another advantage of these scent assortments: they layer wonderfully. Spearmint takes the sweetness away from the immortelle and gives the myrtle a fresh note.
A lovely summer fragrance and an affordable way to spread good vibes even on the subway.
