One thing in advance: The bottle is blue, and it is also classified here as aquatic-citrus. But he is also a bit oldschool and powdery. An interesting combination that reminds me remotely of Sculpture which I have therefore sorted in my shelf right next to it.
It's the first fragrance I remember buying for myself. I'm surprised that I still remembered the name. Google brought up quite an interesting, way too long here, story of how the fragrance was discontinued by Shulton and then rescued by a fan. I had then out of curiosity and early Christmas "do you remember" quite quickly and inexpensively found this 1995 version of Parfums Bleu on the net and ordered it. The bottle and cap still look like the 1975 version. Here and there is also a 2006 version of Key Sun on the net. Whether this was reformulated, I do not know of course.
If there should be differences from the 1975 Shulton to my 1995 version of Parfums Bleu, they cannot be drastic. I must admit that the fragrance surprised me at the first sniff then. A bad buy? After a few more tests, however, I am certain: this is the Blue Stratos of my earliest youth. The fact that it didn't "click" the first time I smelled it is probably due to the fact that, according to today's smelling habits, I imagine "aquatic-citric" to be something different. Seen in this way, the Blue Stratos has something very independent, somehow fallen out of time - just like the blue Zündapp with which I made my first forays into the world that was still at my feet at the time.
