Rose de Siwa Parfums MDCI 2006

The scent reminds me of a fresh young love. The young man wakes his beloved with a glass of sparkling wine and a dewy fresh country rose to make her a romantic proposal.

Is it still like that, or have I landed in another century?

Right from the start, the rose makes a sparkling seduction for conquest. I let it unfold; it is a very beautiful fresh rose scent. It reminds me of country roses in the early morning when the dew still lingers on the petals.
Later, the rose becomes softer, but it dominates for me until the end, never becoming too heavy. When I stick my nose into the roses in the garden, I find that the scent is quite authentic.

Although almost no perfume lingers on me for long, this rose caresses me for about 5 hours. A true wonder.
However, since I prefer less of a single-note scent, I have chosen Vepres Siciliannes.

But for true rose fans who prefer fresh over powdery roses, it's a delightful sniff.
