Coconut, Beach, Vacation... and then the Seaweed came
I shockingly fell in love with this scent while testing it. To my dismay :(
In the perfumery and then on my skin, it smelled like a Caribbean dream: creamy, fresh, and coconutty. No trace of aquatic notes or seaweed. In the hype of having found a wonderful coconut summer fragrance, I promptly stomped back to the perfumery to take it home with me. There was also a 30% discount, really clever of me, I thought.
And then the disillusionment. Unpacked at home, sprayed, and... What is this? Ugh, salty seaweed replaced the wonderfully creamy Caribbean scent, and all that was left was this really unpleasant sea stench. Even after half a year of sitting, unfortunately, no improvement in sight. Really a shame and a lesson for me: no more hasty purchases + test at least 2 times on different days. My grandpa would probably call that a learning fee.
