Great dessert but I just can't make it :D

I tested Zaya because it's being hailed everywhere as a "gourmand bomb". And yes, the start is amazing: honey, apple, cognac - all at once, sweet, fruity, boozy. Smells directly like a liquid dessert after a sumptuous meal.
Then comes this tonka-cinnamon combo with date and amber - warm, spicy, intense. Later, praline and vanilla are layered over everything, really creamy, really sweet. And the sweetness lingers. For hours.

The longevity is brutal. 8+ hours minimum, strong sillage - you leave behind a cloud of fragrance, no question. So if you want to stand out, you get premium gourmand with an announcement here.

But to be honest: it's just too much for me personally. I love gourmands, but Zaya goes in the "sugar with wood underneath" direction. In the long run, it's just too heavy, too sweet, too "I'm a dessert". Maybe okay at 5 degrees in the depths of winter, but even then it would almost be too much for me.

If you love sweet, opulent and eye-catching...go for it. The quality is there. But for me it was like an overly rich dessert: tastes good, but I can't finish it, too much
