Take the sun-warmed fruit
From trembling hands, Iskander
So moss-soft beats the musk heart
When you kiss poison from soft lips

Magical scent for a "lemon fragrance." I find it quite enchanting too.

Why do I always have to throw myself at Poison Ivy, or how much longer will this be okay...

I also think Corticchiato + citrus is great. I only know this one briefly, but maybe Helios di Corsica could be something for you…

Wonderful description, even though I'm not really into the combination of citrus and musk.

Strangely, I got a blast of Ambrox here. It's one of the good kinds, but combined with the house's musk, it became pricklier in my nose with each test. 😕

I can smell the Ambroxan (or Cetalox? Whatever, they're pretty similar) too! It didn't bother me while testing, but I guess it would be too much for me in the long run combined with the musk.

I perceived it as green-creamy-waxy, with a slight aquatic note like a salty sea breeze. Definitely not beeswax, but really like a creamy wax. I can't give a final verdict yet.

Waxy? Interesting! I'll test the scent further and pay close attention to it.

How does Corticchiato always manage this? Citrus scents usually aren't my best friends, but I find this interpretation of the knobby lemon, which was once brought from Asia to Europe by Alexander the Great (Iskander) and is now grown in Corsica, the perfumer's home, to be beautiful. Of course, the sunny Mediterranean, almost sweet citrus note doesn't last forever, but it seamlessly blends into a musky oakmoss base with a bit of salty skin warmth that I think is Cetalox. I'm not quite sure how the listed Tonkin musk smells, but I detect a hint of bitter almond oil. In the long run, the musk would be too much for me, but for now, it's just right.
