...Meliora envelops me in a white summery veil of fragrance that surrounds femininity in its almost virginal purity.
I cannot judge a scent by its ingredients; I have synesthesia, which means I connect multiple sensory impressions together. I see letters in colors, I smell fragrances, and I have certain associations and images related to them.
It is a gift, a blessing, but it can also be a curse, for example in large crowds, where I am overwhelmed by explosions of negative odors.
Meliora, I associate neither the name nor black currants with it. I think the perfumer has created a true work of art here.
I remember my childhood, summer, slathered in sunscreen, freshly washed laundry with a detergent similar to the old Dash and those that could be bought on holiday in Italy. Likewise, Meliora reminds me of the old Kenzo d' ete, which I loved very much before it disappeared.
I never forget these innocent scent impressions and am always on the lookout for them.
Meliora is a fragrance that totally catapults me into a fine sunny feel-good aura.
This scent is so beautifully fresh, creamy, and sexy; I feel the warm summer breeze and the lightness and these lovely laundry vibes.
I also have Amethyst by Lalique; it would be nice if that were the more affordable alternative, but it is not. I use it, so to speak, as a hair mist when I wear Meliora.
The longevity is quite good for such a scent, up to 6 hours, and PFM has created a wonderful fragrance here.
Amethyst is indeed somewhat similar, but I know what you mean. Meliora has that magical, soft, special quality. Sometimes it's really hard to describe. But I think Meliora is amazing too 🥰
