Fancy Fruit Punch
The opening of Meliora is beautiful. It opens smells like a high-end fruit punch beverage, then dries down to be more floral and musky with that fruitiness still present, just not as foward. I don't care to wear this on hot and humid days because it ends up just "feeling" sticky and comes across sickly sweet. But now that I know that, I try and only wear it on less humid days. This perfume makes me feel like a garden fairy.

Fruity sourness combined with tart and tangy accords
Meliora starts off strong with a tart and tangy scent that reminded me way too much of fruity alcoholic beverages. After a while, it calms down a bit, but the tangyness on my skin felt a bit sour, almost acrid, which was a complete disappointment. 30 minutes later, I could sense the florals trying to peak out, accompanied by a green tinged floral jasmine tea. The scent turns floral and sweet, slightly powderish at the edge, with the sour fruit accord blanketing it all. It dries down to a complete vanilla drydown with cedarwood adding warmth to the perfume.

Unfortunately, the fruity sourness combined with the herbal jasmine tea and the florals did nothing for my nose. I have the feeling my skin chemistry played a large part in how the scent turned out as when I sniffed it on a strip of paper, it was a wonderful fruity tea fragrance. Oh well, at least, my wallet is happy!

So so pretty, but lacking sillage
Meliora is for the minimalist pretty girls. She’s soft, she’s light, but she’s definitely grown and sexy. This is one of the more mature fruity scents out there, and is an easy reach for when you want to smell good but not do too much. Also, the bottle is just so beautiful to me.

On my skin and to my nose, I mostly pick up on the black currant, berries, and florals, with a hint of muskiness. I don’t get the cassis at all, which can be a hit or miss note because it can resemble cat urine. I don’t really get the vanilla either, but it doesn’t really need it because the sweetness of this fragrance comes from the berries. It kind of reminds me of a dry white wine, like a Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc. I really enjoy wearing it but my only issue with this scent is how light the projection is. It’s not totally intimate, but it’s not moderate either where you’re going to get it from arms length away (or not after wearing it for a few hours). The longevity is pretty good at 7+ hours and it stays pretty linear through it’s wear.

If you’re looking for a grown woman fruity scent for everyday this is a good one to try. Meliora works well in the spring and summer, and I could see her being used for early fall days. Sure the performance isn’t the best, but the scent itself is amazing. Also, don’t pay full price for this. Only get it when you can get it on discount.

Like a berry scented body lotion
This is an inoffensive fruity floral. Not overpowering, but it basically smells like an inexpensive, decently made, berry scented body lotion. I’m not super impressed with it, but it’s not terrible, just not that original. For a fruity floral I prefer Delina by far—Delina just has more sophistication. This stuff does have pretty good longevity though: 12+ hours.

Brilliant summer scent
Meliora is a very beautiful fruity-green perfume. It’s delicious and at the same time very fresh. It feels like you are walking through a fruit orchard, but it doesn’t feel juvenile like some other fruity scents do. Meliora is well blended, fresh and sparkly yet sophisticated, and it is actually one of my favourite perfumes from Parfums de Marly. I absolutely love the bottle as well. This is compliment getter, apparently the only one besides Delina Exclusif, at least where I live.

Very light fruity-fresh scent with a creamy-sweet base. Mainly red berries, musk & light rose - realm of Pink Me Up, Dom Rosa, Super Moon.

Reminds me of a slippery soapy bubble bath - clean and juicy and cozy. Goes a bit sour in the dry down but stays pleasant. Like but not love

Tart and tangy partnered up for this fizzy fruit cocktail made of wildberries. A hint of floral in the middle and warm sweetness at the end.

Delicious and unusual fruity cocktail. A happy summer fragrance for a fun and elegant lady. Safe blind buy for lovers of fruity perfume.

Juicy currants, berries and a slight hint of rose. The tea note keeps it elegant and mature. Very airy and uplifting scent.

Very generic from PDM. Not something I would ever revisit. A decent buy for $50, not $250.

First test on skin I only got flowers. Second test on skin I only got fruit. Confusing, but both smelled nice. Like not love.

Fruity and just fine. I didn't like it at first but it grew on me. There's some note in it that I'm not too fond of
