The Rice Pudding Horse
Man, what a thing. Honestly. Just wow.
It's high summer, but this scent completely blew me away when I tested it in a perfume store. I see a horse made of freshly cooked rice pudding, spiced with cinnamon & vanilla. It gallops into my nose & caresses the mucous membranes with pure elegance.
A luxury flies into your nose, it's unbelievable. Rarely have I smelled such a perfectly gourmand fragrance. It bears some resemblance to Tom Ford Noir Extreme, but only in the slightest way. This creamy, Kulfi-like character that breaks through possesses that similarity. Aside from that, it's completely different. Much, much milder, softer, simply milkier. Honey, so warm, the land of milk & honey. Noir Extreme is a bit woodier, not quite as sweet & delicious, leaning more towards designer. I quickly become nose-blind, but this cloud has surrounded me for 3 hours now and doesn't stop. I'm in heaven. I crave rice pudding, want to sit by the fireplace, watch the snow outside & just smell myself until I fall asleep. This scent calms everyone around you, every person, every animal, they all sit in front of you, form a circle & start talking about how great you smell. I once wrote that Club Black is the absolute Netflix & Chill scent, but Oajan surpasses that by miles. While Club Black smells really delicious and pleasant with vanilla, this is on a whole different level. Much deeper, more complex, softer, not remotely synthetic, you really feel like you're in the middle of a pot full of treats and can't handle it, simply because it's so beautiful.
The scent clings to you, but after 2 hours, the sillage fades. Still strong projection, but of course not as obvious as in the first 2 hours. It builds up strongly in the first hour, initially VERY cinnamon-heavy and intense, but then settles down and becomes just... perfect. Honestly, simply PERFECT.
What would I give to own a bottle like this, absolute perfection, but of course in the upper price league.
Compliment scale: Out of this world. But an absolute cold weather scent.

Personally, I prefer "Noir Extreme" by far; I find it much finer and more complex.
Noir Extreme is similar, but still different. It's also my top favorite, simply because it's easier to wear. A great all-day scent for cooler days, and it can also be worn when it's a bit warmer.
