Milky Musk/39 Parle Moi de Parfum 2016
Do I not like sandalwood?
Unfortunately not the right one, in search of my creamy wood…
It has a slightly spicy quality from the sandalwood, but very very creamy. Unfortunately, for me, the combination of spiciness, creaminess, and woodiness (at least in this case) brings out a slightly fermented or pickled (?) coconut note that I simply do not like.
I can break down the scent on my skin into its individual components and find it “theoretically good,” but it will not be the pleasant companion I so longed for.

I've also been asked which coconut scent I wear. I personally don't smell any coconut at all.

Edit: someone described the spicy note as “smoky,” which I find very intriguing. It’s not a linear spice but rather a feeling that deviates from the expectation of Milky Musk.
