Liquid Comfort
If I was in Hogwarts and had to create a Draught of Peace, it would smell like Milky Musk/39. It quite literally calms me down when I'm feeling anxious or panicky. No other perfume has had that effect on me, which is a pity cause my bottle is emptying far too fast :)
It first starts out slightly peppery and then fades into a gentle cloud of warm musky sandalwood.
The only downside is longevity - it only lasts for about 4 hours on my skin until it completely disappears with no trace notes.
(If anyone could recommend me a longer lasting alternative, I'd be eternally grateful)

milky sandalwood
*the note breakdown is missing the fig which is very prominent note

This is an ultra creamy and milky sandalwood with fluffy soft musks and a coconutty fig. The fig has its leaves on in the opening with a subtle greenness but as the scent develops, coconutty nuisances envelop the fruit. The sandalwood here is milky, creamy, soft and smooth, with the musks fully painting a picture of fluffy clouds and cashmere blankets. This is a perfect balance of simple notes and a scent that feels hard to critique.

Cozy fuzzy 'feel good' wood
A very nice creamy sandalwood. It's definitely more of a sandalwood fragrance than a musk one. Smells drinkable (but don't do it, kids!) I agree with the comparisons to JHAG Sunny Side Up. Sillage doesn't move past your personal space bubble. Very pretty but in my opinion, slightly overpriced when you consider how many other perfumes smell a lot like this.

Pretty unspectacular...
...that's how you could describe "Milky Musk/39". That's what it really is and that may sound negative for some, but I like it very much just because of that. Whole two fragrance notes gives the pyramid, sandalwood and musk, and probably lets the one or the other Parfumo only tired yawn.

In the top note, I am surprised by a very authentic, dry cedar wood, with which I did not expect, but which I like. This also comes about at least something like a scent progression, because after a while, the fragrance becomes increasingly creamy and it develops a quite wonderful sandalwood. This lasts on me for several hours unchanged until the musk base then shows itself. This is also present again for several hours, fluffy, almost a little powdery and with a very slightly metallic, but not unpleasant note.
Amazingly durable it is on me with a good twelve hours, with initially medium, towards the end rather skin sillage. Citrus notes, spices, flowers or fruits you look in vain here and who wants complex pyramids or fragrances with the special twist, is also wrong here. So why do I like this unspectacular "threesome" of base notes so much then? There are days when I need just such a fragrance. One that envelops me and doesn't distract, without excitement or surprises. Then I love its clear course, its predictability and its straightforwardness.
I don't find the name quite as aptly chosen, as I don't find it milky at any point. Also, for me, sandalwood rather than musk is the main protagonist of the fragrance, but that's just on the side. I think it's great and it could well be that "Milky Musk/39" may move in with me at some point.

Musk heaven
What makes the perfect perfume for me? Not smelling like a perfume! Confusing? By that I mean that for me perfection is when the fragrance naturally "blends" with me underlines and highlights my own scent and doesn't sit on top of it.
With my favorite fragrances, it is actually the case that no matter which one I wear, I am told: "You smell so good, just like YOU!" And not: "You smell like perfume XY" Most of them contain musk, but even most of them that don't, the musk note comes through for me

Musk was already one of my favorites when I was a teenager and my first olfactory excursions into musk heaven led me to Jefferson's tea store when I was 14, where they had these little bottles of perfume oils that you could afford even on a small pocket money.
While browsing here, I happened to come across Milky Musk 39, which aroused my curiosity from the name alone. My curiosity and excitement were heightened by the fact that the fragrance was created using only sandalwood, musk and fig milk. Sandalwood? great! Musk?super top! Fig milk??? No idea whatsoever. Blind purchase ? Rather risky at this price. So I bought a bottle and: love at first spray!!!
And so I quickly bought 100ml because I want to continue indulging in musk heaven...

I got milky musk and Orris tattoo samples. This one fail the comparison to the second. Lacks charisma, choose Orris Tatto over this one

To me, this is the best musky fragrance there is. It truly lives up to its name, a creamy, milky musk with just a hint of sandalwood.

As the name suggests, its milky, lactonic, creamy sandalwood. Extremely cozy and lovely scent but lacks firepower.
